– The Psychology of Color: How to Use Colors to Influence Mood in Your Home –
– Donations to LA Fire Victims –
Agent Contribution: Fawn Vu, Partner Agent / Assistant Team Lead
Like all of us, we are deeply heartbroken to see the devastating impact of the wildfires on our city and communities. And like many of you, we have friends, acquaintances, and clients who have lost their homes and are searching for ways to help. But amidst the tragedy, it has been truly inspiring to see our city unite in remarkable ways to support those in need. The effects of these fires will be long-lasting, and according to aid groups on the ground, the most effective way we can help fire victims is through financial donations, as these contributions will meet both immediate and long-term needs.
Below is a guide to a few aid organizations currently accepting monetary donations to directly support those affected.
American Red Cross
Their work includes providing temporary shelter, supplies, and emotional support to the fire victims. Donations to the Red Cross can help fund these critical services.
GoFundMe
GoFundMe has created a centralized online hub housing all verified fundraising pages related to the wildfires, and is updated with new accounts as they are verified by the GoFundMe team. Monetary donations help deliver cash directly to those impacted by the fires. At the top of the hub is also GoFundMe’s Wildfire Relief Fund 2025.
California Fire Association
The foundation is working with local fire agencies and community organizations to support residents impacted by fires. Donations directly support victims of wildfires and disasters throughout California, including LA County.

Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation
This foundation supports the LAFD in its efforts to protect and serve the community. Their programs assist with fire prevention and recovery, as well as providing resources to those impacted by fires.
Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE)
CORE is deploying an emergency response team to support those where air quality is a major concern. It is supplying emergency go-bags, masks and other protective equipment while providing information about evacuations and shelter support.
World Central Kitchen
World Central Kitchen’s relief team is in Southern California to support first responders and families affected by the fires, providing nourishing meals for people in need.
Pasadena Humane Society
Pasadena Humane animal control officers have been assisting with animal evacuations while Pasadena Humane staff have been working at the shelter to help take in the animals of displaced families. The organization has taken in 700 animals from the Eaton Fire and are in need of monetary donations to help purchase medical supplies and other resources.

– LOVE NOTES –
We love our clients, and they love us…
❝This review is waaay overdue but I am a procrastinator. Francine at L34 was referred to us by a friend and helped us purchase our first home, and we are so grateful for her guidance, knowledge, and attentiveness. She was always available to answer questions and proactive in educating us on the home buying process, which is so overwhelming as a first time home buyer. Francine helped us get an amazing deal on a home and went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable with the deal and negotiation process. Her communication was thorough with everyone involved and went the extra mile to find quotes and recommendations during the inspections. Even after we moved in, Francine has continued to help us with all of our new homeownership questions and makes sure we take care of things we might not have thought of. We highly recommend Francine and L34 and so happy with our whole experience!❞
