The weather is beautiful, the days are longer, and if you’re looking to hit the pavement with some company, there’s a Northeast LA running group for every pace and vibe. Whether you’re training for your next race or just out for a social jog, here are some local crews to check out.
Eagle Rock Run Club
A friendly neighborhood crew meeting weekly at Walt’s Bar on Thursdays at 7pm. All paces are welcome, and post-run hangouts are half the fun. Expect chill vibes, good convos, and a mix of 3–5 mile routes through local streets and hills.
Highland Park Runners
If you’re close to Figueroa and York, meet up at York Park on Tuesdays at 7pm as a great option for a tighter crew. All paces are welcome, no pressure to run fast!
Silver Lake Track Club
Founded in 2021 from just a couple of neighborhood runs, the Silver Lake Track Club has quickly grown into one of LA’s premier recreational running groups. What started with two runners is now a diverse community training year-round for races ranging from 5Ks to triathlons. Members include local creatives, business owners, and athletes united by a shared commitment to community. The club hosts free weekly training runs and organizes charity-driven events throughout the year.

Thursday Track: 7:30pm @ Memorial Stadium Burbank
Sunday Sessions: 8am @ Makisupa Coffee Bar

Slow Runners LA
This is my type of crew. Absolutely no peer pressure, just getting started, or just naturally at a sexy pace. “Because it’s never sexy to finish early”. Follow their IG for their monthly schedule release.
Running Mamis
Started by four mothers in 2018 to create a welcoming space for other mothers — as well as tias and abuelas — to run for exercise. This empowering group meets in parks and around the Eastside for stroller-friendly jogs, supportive conversation, and strong community vibes. It’s part workout, part wellness, part sisterhood.
